The Dignity DL1 Deluxe Toilet Lift provides assistance for getting on and off the toilet. The DL1 works with all toilets that have bowl height from 14 - 18 inches. The Dignity Lift raises the user 14 inches up from a seated position (measured from the rear of the seat). It takes about 20 seconds for the lift to go from bottom to top at a steady pace. The weight capacity of the Dignity Lift is is 300 lbs.

Installing the Dignity Lift is simple - just remove the existing toilet seat and put the DL1 in it's place. The DL1 weighs 50 lbs., which makes it very stable and secure. The DL1 can be operated with electricity or a battery. The lift comes with a backup battery as well as a charger plug. User have the option to plug the charger in the lift all the time, or use the battery. The battery does need to be recharged about every 30 days.
