Installation Guide: Installation of the Pro Bath Chair Lift is straight-forwards and requires no structural or plumbing changes. Use a level to ensure the chair lift is straight and then mount with just four bolts being screwed into the ceiling and four bolts into the floor. What’s Included: In addition to the base, mast, arm and chair, this bath lift also comes with a spare 18-volt DC battery so you’ll never have to wait to take a soak in the tub. The lift’s mast can be extended up to 10’ for higher ceilings if needed.
About the Battery System: The battery has an indicator button on it that shows how much battery life is left. The battery has been tested, and, in perfect conditions, patients have gotten about 18 lifts out of a fresh battery. Users who are worried about battery life can always switch to a fresh battery every time they use the lift, since two batteries are sent with the chair, and one battery can be in the charger at all times!
What You Need for Installation: Only five measurements are needed for the Pro Bath Chair Lift: The width of the bottom of the tub (18" minimum), the thickness of the tub wall (both top and bottom measurements), the floor-to-ceiling height, and the height of the tub from the bathroom floor.
